I need to know if there are any Washington State Section 8 programs that are absorbing out of state residents?

My family is planning a move to Western Washington state, but we are currently recieving section 8 and want to transfer it from Ohio to Washington. All of the housing authorities we have contacted so far are not ';absorbing'; any new residents. We hate to throw away the housing assistance, but its looking as though we may have to. Any information would help.
