I want to buy a house in SC but I don't have money for a down payment and must leave in Jan. Any ideas?

My dad is a retiree and his sole income is less than 3000 a month. We are currently renting for 1600 a month but our lease expires in Jan. and we want out. We are considering moving to south carolina but, while we are here we cannot save money for a down payment. There are seven of us(my brother, sister, her two kids, my dad, me and a friend of the family). I've been out of work for almost a year so i can take care of the babies while my sister pursues a career, which is driving me mad. The others are just barely holding down jobs while my father provides for us. We need to move because Jersey is just too expensive but I don't know what to do. I know this is a less than ideal situation but if anyone has any ideas, I'd like to hear them nonetheless.
